Manchester First Street

Manchester First Street

C & O Powder coatings began work on the first street project in October 2014 with the project opening in June 2015.

The £80 million development at First Street has become Manchester’s new business and cultural hub and home to the largest multi-storey car park in Manchester.

As one of the major openings this year, First Street is situated in the heart of the city centre providing 700 spaces to business and casual parkers.

The development accommodates a number of leisure destinations such as restaurants, a four star hotel which will be operated by Melia International and the £13m Vita Student development. This includes the £25m venue for HOME, a unique multi-art form centre which has brought forward for the merged Cornerhouse and Library Theatre Company.

John Hughes, Managing Director from Ask Property Developments, (developers of the project) says “We are delighted with the quality of the development. This new facility will further enhance the offer for business and leisure visitors to First Street”
