ARCHITECT WANTED FOR WILLESDEN JEWISH CEMETERY, LONDON
25 April 2016AN ARCHITECT IS BEING SOUGHT FOR THE UNITED SYNAGOGUE, THE £2.4MILLION PROJECT IS BASED IN NORTH WEST, LONDON.
The project will restore the 8 acre site, creating a new visitor centre, café etc.
The contract notice states "The United Synagogue has won a round one pass from the Heritage Lottery Fund to prepare a round two grant application for the Willesden Cemetery Heritage Project by September 2017.
'The consultancy is required to design and produce a scheme for architecture and landscaping. This will include preparation of a conservation plan and a management and maintenance plan to precise HLF guidelines and cover buildings refurbishment and adaptation, conservation of graves and other memorials, landscaping and horticultural services.’
